CLUB COMPETITION 2009
SEASON - September 12th - November 15th (10 Wks)
VENUE - Otara Leisure Center and Alan Brewster Stadium
GENERAL -
1.The League Champion will be decided on the round robin basis.There maybe a
seperate Tourney at the end of season.
2.Teams must register a minium of 8 players
3.Qualified referees will be paid $10 each per game and be paid via the club at the end
of the season.
4.All the Fees must be totally paid before the team can earn points on the points table.
5.Each A Grade Club Team must have a development team in the same gender and this
second team will pay only 50% of the entry fee
COMPETITION FORMAT:
1. Teams will be graded according to number of entries and past performance
2. Games will be 3 sets to 25 points otherwise FIVB Rules
3. Time between games is 10min from the finish of previous game to the
whistle for toss of next game.
4. Game starts (1st serve) on the scheduled game time unless previous game
still in progress then rule 3 applies.
5. Defaults - teams not ready to start on time will be defaulted.
6. Duties -7 people are needed for duty(2 refs,4 linespeople and 1 scorer).
Teams are expected to help with setting up and putting away of gear
and picking up rubbish.
Each team must have 2 people who have attended a CMVA refeering course
and 1 person who has attended a CMVA coaching course.
7. Uniform - Playing shirts must be of the same colour and be numbered back and
front.Shorts must be of the same type and colour.
8. Loss of Bond will occur where
a. Team is not ready to start on time
b. Duty team not ready to start on time and not enough people on duty.
c. Incorrect uniform.
d. One of the referees must be qualified.
The team must then pay another bond.
9. Any team not fully paid can be removed from the competition.
10.Transfers - no transfers within the season are permitted.
Between seasons the transfer fee is up to $200(can be waivered by old club)
11.Between the grades players can be promoted and relegation limited to 2 players
per match.
12.To be eligible to play for the finals players must have played 5 games in this
competition for the club.
13.Disputes - adjudicated by CMV executive Committee and decisions will be final.
14.Medals are given for the top grades of men and women and a team of the year
may be awarded
15.Safety - Spectators and children are not permitted on the gym floor and parents
are responsible for the control of their children.Only water on gym floor
15.Draws - no amendments permitted to draw.
